The Most Trouncing School Subject

When you think of difficult and daunting school subjects, what exactly pops up in your mind? For most people it would probably be mathematics or maybe even physics, but for me, biology is by FAR the hardest of them all.

Now, what exactly makes biology that hard? There are quite a few reasons as to why that is, in fact, really strenuous, but I'll only be stating a couple of them.

The first reason is simply the abundance of memorizations that needs to be done. With only 4 chapters covered, the entire class struggles to barely hang on, except for that one kid, of course. Why is it that it has only been 4 chapters and the whole class is struggling that much? Well, first of all, the IGCSE Programme requires you to exhert all of your brainpower, even if the question is quite simple. Secondly, us 7th graders have a very hard time understanding the lesson. In chapter 3, (the last chapter), we were studying about diffusion and osmosis, as well as some other scientific terms that I barely know or understand of.

The second reason is that there is just way too many things to remember. There are about at least 10 keywords in a chapter, which doesnt sound like alot, until you actually have to use the word in a "theoretical experiment".

And last but not least for this week's blog post, is literally the teacher his/herself. Personally, my teacher is quite skilled at teaching and can be very helpful for my learning experience, but her learning style does'nt suit me very well. It makes me wonder sometimes, "Can I even pass this class, with it being this diffucult?"
