Yogyakarta and Semarang Field Trip

So, unless you can't read a title, you probably already know what I'll be talking about in this blog post. It's my field trip experience going to Yogyakarta and Semarang with my entire grade-- about 200 people (I think, lets hope it's right).

But that's besides the point. I'll just begin now.

We departed from our first meeting point, which is, my school, and all 200 students hopped on the 5 buses assigned to us. It was quite a shame that we were mixed in with some other classes that had.. rather rowdy students. It was NOT a good trip in the bus. But hey, at least I slept through most of it?

And so, the eight-hour journey on the relatively uncomfortable seats began. The first hour was probably the worst, since the students were most excited and loudest; EVEN THOUGH IT WAS 6 IN THE MORNING!!

..

You can probably tell by now that I do not like the start of this field trip. But it does get better at least.

About 2 hours in the bus- 7:30am

Our surroundings were mostly like that. There wasn't much to see, however it was quite pleasant to the eyes; just a nice vast field of lush greenery, occasional cows and herds of sheep, and a smooth, empty road, while still being a little damp, and the bus going at a rather fast speed. For a bus at least. And................... the bus was quiet. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

The bus was also slightly cold, so it was definitely peaceful. 10/10 hour.

But the next hour, the third hour, was not nearly as good. People woke up and made the whole bus stink because of all the snacks they opened. But I also opened some snacks of my own, soo.. 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️

Around halfway through, we went for a quick stop at a rest area, and nothing much happened there. But it was actually a nice break and I got to stretch around a little, so I guess that was nice.

Then nothing notable happened for the rest of the bus ride, and before I knew it, we had arrived at Semarang. But look, even though yes it said that I went to Semarang, technically I did, but just for like an hour. And all we did was eat. Nothing more, nothing less.

After that, we went to Candi Prambanan, and we got some nice pictures, walked around, and just got to learn about the place's history. It was rather interesting, to say the least.

Then we went to a place called Purawisata, where they showed us an insane performance about their culture and traditions, and we also ate some pretty decent food there.

The next day we went to Gembira Loka Zoo, and oh boy was it huge. There was an entire river inside the zoo, speedboats, a small yacht (although merely decorative), and also entire areas for animal types, like mammals, fishes, amphibians, etc.

There were many variations of each animal, and there were even 4 types of monkeys in the same genus. At the end of the day we ate at Mahkota Resto and went to Malioboro street.

On the third day, we went to Merapi Jeep. More or less, it is just a jeep ride around the outskirts of the town, going ito mud and stuff. We got some pictures of ourselves, and ate at Allabun, which is just some random restaurant, and the food isn't that good either, but its fine.

Then we went to Krisna, which is a huge souvenir shopping center for, well, souvenirs. And we had dinner at Pring Sewu Garden.

On the last day of our trip, we went to Omah Kecebong, which the place where IShowSpeed, the current number 1 streamer in terms of concurrent viewers and most income, went to. It is also the place where Speed did some archery, and he was REALLY good at it,

We ate Hokben in the bus for lunch, and we were on our way back to Bandung, and arrived late at night, at 11pm.
